Against the current trend of quartz watches, the German watchmaker Gerd R. Lang was decided in 1983 for the manufacture of mechanical models exclusively bracelet. Lang was convinced that there was a good market among collectors and connoisseurs, interested in limited editions of models of high quality based on the more traditional Swiss calibers and finished by hand. Although the designs were conventional, the production made use of útlimas technologies. The headquarters of the company was in Munich, but was called Chronoswiss because Lang was intended not to use other machines to the Swiss in the best quality. His first watch it ended in 1982: a chronograph with moon phase and calendar, which, of course, it was only a limited edition. All their watches are now collector’s pieces or are in museums.
