From the Geneva Society of Arts in 1776 reported that fifteen minutes is all that is needed to wind the watch sufficiently for eight days. As business flourished in Europe a grandson of the founder, William Baume met Paul Mercier, a great lover of the arts and in 1918 established a partnership trade.
